Product Control Business Area is currently looking for a Credit Valuations ENO to join the team in London.
The credit valuation team (11 FTE) sits within the credit product control department. The team has two key connected remits,
1.Validate via periodic price testing the front office position marks across the credit business.
2.Validate via a detailed review the accurate representation in the banks books and records (both from a valuation and accounting perspective) of structured transactions.
The team covers valuations across the European credit business-incorporating investment grade trading, structured credit, customer financing, leveraged finance and corporate CDO. Within this business a wide scope of credit products are covered- for example, flow bond\cds\loan trading, correlation products and credit swaptions.

Product control operates a partially deployed business model. The London team works in close partnership with a team in Singapore, providing oversight/value added review and front office liaison for the valuations function.

Main Responsibilities of the role are:
- Responsible for the independent valuation of Credit Derivatives Products.
- Liaise with Front office \line product control\ valuations product control regionally and globally to resolve issues as part of the price testing process.
- Participate in the production of key valuations reporting packs used to communicate valuations status.

- 1-2 years experience in either a valuations or technical line product control role.
- Numerical degree level education –science\engineering\economics\maths , at least 2.1
- Professional finance or accountancy qualification- ACA\CFA etc.
- Knowledge of derivative valuation. Credit specific derivatives experience is not essential (other asset classes such as rates\equities etc are acceptable), but knowledge of the basic workings of credit markets and products is a requirement.
