Strategists by nature are generalists, needing on the one hand to be quantitative and yet on the other to be articulate in describing their findings, both orally and in writing. We tend to find that the best candidates have a sharp analytical mind and an insatiable intellectual curiosity, most obviously with respect to the drivers of financial markets but also about the world in general.
