Credit Manager Junior M/F - VIE London
Join for a VIE, Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in London (SG CIB), and more precisely the Options Group within MARK/CTY. MARK/CTY covers a wide array of markets, including oil, refined products, natural gas, LNG, coal, base metals, precious metals and plastics, for all its customers: corporates, banks, central banks, municipalities and investors. You will join the trading room on Commodity derivative products as a member of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) credit team.

Your role
As a Credit Manager Junior, you will achieve the following assignments:
•Participate in daily management of credit issues:
- launch legal negotiation process
- handle one-off approvals requests for the London trading desk
- participate in the credit line request process
•Actively work on streamlining process between Paris and London. Ensure that all guidelines have been fully respected by Front officers: iflow follow-up; client rating follow-up.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last from 12 to 18 months. You will receive an allowance to complete Ubifrance allowance.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Ubifrance’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.

Graduate from Business School or University, with major in Finance, you have advanced knowledge in market finance (derivatives products) and risk management.
You are fluent in English. You are proficient in Excel.
Your entrepreneurial skills and your good ability to deal with exposure to risk are key competencies for this mission.
Open-minded, cooperative, with good communication skills, you are able to maintain a permanent contact with traders, sales and others department, and to assist all Front officers daily.
Finally, you are able to deal with stressful environment thanks to your self-control.
