The Global Creative Solutions International User Experience team is looking for a Design Lead who is ready to take on the challenge of breaking new ground with top advertisers by working closely with them to understand their objectives and then finding new, creative and innovative ways to reach their objectives. You’ll work closely with advertisers, creative agencies, internal partners and the Global Creative Solutions v-team team to create custom solutions that break through the online advertising clutter and deliver immersive, engaging content experiences for consumers. You will manage a small team of designers and be surrounded by a supportive and energetic team who are dedicated to helping you create ground-breaking ideas, see those ideas from inception to the Web, and drive industry-leading solutions.
Responsibilities: Ability to both lead and participate actively in brainstorming sessions Work closely with Brand Strategists to understand advertiser needs and integrated into custom solutions (experiences) on the Web Collaborate with editorial team on content framework and editorial planning Generate highly creative content experiences through creation of conceptual work (sketches, wireframes, UI, AI, and comps) Clearly communicate and evangelize concepts and ideas to internal partners and external clients Manage projects and team members end-to-end - from concept creation, through site architecture, UI, interaction and visual design to production and release to the Web. This includes managing deliverables to aggressive deadlines in collaboration with partner team (example: product development) Work closely with Project Managers and Product Development (engineering) disciplines to move projects through the implementation process Collaborate with other design leads, designers and usability engineer on the team on a regular basis Take feedback from clients, internal and external partners and drive to the best possible consumer and advertiser experience outcome |

The ideal candidate is highly creative - with the ability to both lead and participate actively in the brainstorming process; has deep experience and is passionate and confident in his/her knowledge of both visual design and UI; is a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative design environment; and has a proven record of creating consumer experiences for the Web. The ideal candidate must be able to manage projects end-to-end; partner with inter-discipline v-team members - as well as partner with clients and creative agencies. The ability to present to clients (both internal and external) and clearly communicate concepts and ideas is a must.
Demonstable industry related experience with a proven track record of shipping successful consumer experiences Experience managing a team of designers that deliver highly engaging and creative interactive solutions Experience creating multi-market consumer experiences Vision and strategy: Build awareness of overall business strategy for the Global Creative Solutions Team - as well as gain a deeper awareness of competitors and competitive threats. Project management: Ability to identify ways to concisely and objectively discuss and resolve UX issues at the peer level with escalation to gain agreement on issues. Mastery of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, After Effects and other design industry related tools Ability to develop multiple innovative design solutions for Global Creative Solutions proposal work; effectively articulate them with the required level of detail (examples: wireframes, concept screens, end-to-end user flows) which results in creative, entertaining and efficient design and implementation decisions Ability to work effectively across partner teams and disciplines, which will enable the team to stay on track or identify and execute on difficult tasks and timeframes. Ability to ensure that deliverables for features and interface mechanism are consistent with team deliverables as communicated by more senior team members, which results in alignment with product strategies Ability to manage him/herself against predetermined deadlines and schedules so that key milestones and metrics are met with high-quality deliverables.
Desirable: Product Design: Seek multiple solutions for each and every experience; not stopping at the first solution. Product Design: Ask the right UX, technology, and business questions; capitalize on discipline expertise (for example: user research, product development, content publishing) to ensure the user experience and design is clearly defined and actionable
