The UBS Corporate Broking team services one of the City’s leading client franchises and sits at the heart of UBS’s UK Investment Banking business. We require an energetic and enthusiastic individual with a sound technical background and significant relevant experience to join the investor relations team within Corporate Broking, primarily focused on servicing clients within the Mid Market Group (MMG).
The individual will support the provision of a range of investor relations advisory services to UBS’s corporate broking clients.
The role
• Investor relations advisory coverage for corporate broking clients:
- Market watch – keeping clients and the UBS Corporate Broking team up to date on client stock price and market news through timely verbal and written communications
- IR advisory – help clients maximise the impact of their IR efforts by providing key insights and management information on their IR programmes including investor targeting and investor feedback
- Client IR programme execution – support clients to deliver investor roadshows, results presentations, sales force briefings and other similar client events
• IR team responsibilities
- Assist with the production of IR team periodical market reports |

• Sound and demonstrable understanding of the dynamics of financial markets, particularly equity markets, and the equity investment community
• Relevant experience gained in a capital markets environment, ideally either in corporate finance or equities, in-house investor relations, financial PR, IR consultancy etc.
• Strong communicator – ability to engage and build relationships with clients and colleagues
• Articulate, with excellent formal writing and presentation skills
• Numerate, with solid analytical skills and acute attention to detail
• Proficient user of market data applications including Datastream, Reuters, Bloomberg, Factiva
• Proficient user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Familiarity with investment bank presentation production processes
• Focused, with strong attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver against short deadlines
• Creative, clear thinker, able to take initiative |
