Channel Telesales Executive - BT iNet
The Channel Telesales role is critical to the generation, follow up and closure of new business leads with strategic BTchannels. The core focus of the role is new business development & meeting creation from outbound calling and inbound call handling, provision of accurate and timely product quotations on Ciscoproducts coupled with Account, Opportunity and Order alignment with the BT iNetSales Community

Successful applicants will form an essential Team who will become the day to day focal point of communication between the BT iNet and the BT Sales Desk, in support of lead generation, quotation provision, lead follow up and management and order intake. The role will involve the upkeep of detailed records on both Excel Workbooks and SalesLogix CRM, and will involve some financial reporting out of Business Objects and the BT iNetData Warehouse. Strong organisational ability, effective prioritisation of workloads and a strong Customer Service ethos are critical A large element of the role will involve the liaison between external resources and internal colleagues in Sales, Customer Services and Purchasing at BT iNet. An ability to forge and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally is fundamental, as is a detailed understanding of the BT iNet Sales Structure and the markets in which each team operate

Role Responsibilities
Outbound calling, closure of meetings with key Customer contacts
Proficient use of the BT iNet Quotation Tool, N Drive and associated business processes (training provided)
Understanding and capitalising on available promotions in the distribution channel, and programmes within Cisco
Participation in regular lead review calls to ensure that opportunities passed between BT iNet and the channel are being actioned in a timely manner
Accurate alignment of opportunities and inbound orders with the relevant Sales Account Manager internally using SalesLogix, C-CAT and iNet named account lists
Building relationships with internal Sales contacts and Account Managers within the strategic channels
Maintaining and updating detailed records as to the levels of activity between BT iNet and the channel, including but not limited to number of quotations provided, number of orders received, number of leads passed over, number of leads received
To provide a focal point of communication on current activities between BT iNet and the channel on activity levels, workloads and performance
Ongoing feedback and communication to management as to revenue numbers, risks and challenges
