Derivatives IT provides development and support of front, middle and back office applications used by the global OTC derivatives business for interest rate, credit and equity derivatives, options and fund linked products. The CORE Architecture team provides systems to be used across all business areas in DIT and beyond. The DiVA team primarily provide software for distributing market construction and analytic calculations across threads and machines. The team has also recently been given responsibility for a market object builder (MOB) written in C#, as well as having responsibility for a legacy market object builder (MR) written in C++.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will join the DiVA team.
The candidate should have an extremely strong knowledge of C#, C++ and COM. An understanding of derivatives products would be useful but not essential.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
•Development, design, testing & support of DiVA, MOB & MR systems. |

Successful track record working under pressure and to deadlines.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Investment Banking experience.
Good C# and C++/COM Experience
Excellent understanding of multi-threading and experience in developing multi-threaded systems.
