Working as part of a global team, the London-based candidate would be responsible for new development and maintenance of an existing suite of Risk Reporting applications that support FICC Credit and Rates trading. This suite provides front office tools to report real time risk to traders alongside a set of support tools for middle and back office. Development in this role will focus on core services development, which will include building and maintaining links to other systems internally for trade and market data flow, as well as ensuring that the core infrastructure has the performance and functionality to enable live risk calculations.
The role covers: • Enhancement and maintenance of the existing application suite. • Developing new WCF services where identified. • Maintenance and extension to the risk compute cluster and market data and trade services and to support future requirements. • Providing full life-cycle development for components accountable for – including collaborating with other developers and QA, and training and providing point of escalation for application support staff.
