Treasury one of three business streams within Treasury & Liquidity Management. The role of TLM is to act as a central function in the provision of financing & liquidity solutions for the BP2S client base. Treasury has three core products: Forex, deposits and overdrafts. TLM is presently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to be based in London who will be responsible for marketing & developing the FX product range. BP2S FX covers over 100 markets, with €34bn of client flows dealt in spot in 2008 & €550bn in swaps & forwards. BP2S is able to hedge FX flows through our AutoFX tool or through the client contacting one of the seven desks directly.
The role of the Business Development Manager within TLM is a client facing role with responsibility for assisting the Coverage Teams in their marketing efforts through adding value with the provision of TLM Products. Given the structure of TLM in London, the position will sit within the Cash Finance Group and the job holder will also be expected to assist in the marketing and structuring of direct credit products. The job holder is required to have an understanding of foreign exchange either in a previous role as a sales person or exposure in a CIB Relationship Manager context. In addition a sound understanding of risk and key market drivers is expected. The role requires liaison with the Bank's Risk Management Group, and involves the preparation of credit requests. The job holder also works closely with Product Development to ensure that appropriate new products are developed for the target client base.
Key Responsibilities : -Develop & implement a strategy plan for TLM's FX Product in the UK -Development of new business with existing and potential clients for both FX & Cash financing -Identify & research opportunities such as new markets or products -Be responsible for liaising with GRM, Legal & Tax to secure new business -Organise workshops with BP2S Coverage teams to educate them on the FX product -Managing account relationships where appropriate & maintaining a good level of client contact -Meeting with the client to understand their requirements and the preparation of credit requests for Credit Committee -Negotiate the legal documentation & ensure appropriate legal documents are executed and filed. -Undertake ad hoc projects when required.
