You will be based in the Structure and Productivity team, an internal business-consulting unit, who are looking to expand an existing team to meet the growing business requirements of the Santander Group. Based on London and locally deployed in Santander with dotted reporting into the Group Organisation team in Madrid, this is a key business unit in the Santander model that supports the efficiency/productivity drivers, with a primary focus on conducting continuous yet comprehensive organisation reviews of Business areas.
Using typical business consulting tools (e.g. Diagnostics, To-Be models, Benchmarks etc) you will carry out operating model reviews, productivity and capacity analysis, and develop recommendations to discuss with Director-level stakeholders in the bank.
This is a high-visibility role to display/refine analytical skills whilst working with the Executive Board on restructuring projects relating to organisation, design, and governance and operating models.
The role is a perfect platform for individuals looking to work within an internal consulting environment and/or looking to develop a career in Retail Banking (within the UK or globally). There are plenty of opportunities to potentially migrate into line management, group functions, or to development functional expertise/vertical career progression within the unit.

| Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a Quantitative/Numerical subject, you will be a highly numerate problem solver.
