To support the Corporate High Yield & Leveraged Finance (HY/LF) business development activities across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The candidate will assist the London based EMEA head of HY/LF business development in generating new rating mandates and implementing the sector strategy across EMEA. Reporting to the head of HY/LF business development, this organised and proactive individual will assist with execution of the HY business plan, in particular helping to identify, develop and manage relationships with key market intermediaries in London, including bankers, investors and PE sponsors. The individual will work principally alongside members of the Corporate Finance BRM team based in London, but will also interact with BRM staff in the Fitch offices around EMEA.
Specific Role Responsibilities;
• Able to source and slice/dice data from subscriber databases (Bloomberg / Dealogic + other data sources) to feed into marketing activities ie. finding data, making sense of it and then framing appropriately in marketing pitchbooks
• Assist in the development of key target lists and the updating of marketing material
• Capable of coordinating HY outreach campaigns in support of EMEA HY activities
• Assist with the sourcing of key HY banker and Private Equity contacts and scheduling meetings as appropriate. Recording / updating profiles and meetings in the CRM database
• Monitoring monthly new rating and issuance information from various data sources to feed into the business reporting
• Assistance with fee letter preparation

• Highly developed communication and presentation skills, verbal and written

• Knowledge of PowerPoint and experience of Bloomberg, Reuters and Bondware useful
• Experience of the Debt Capital Markets preferable and familiarity with Leveraged Finance would be useful
• Educated to University degree level, preferably in a business-related discipline. |
