Focus on Oracle's Financial Management applications family to develop innovative value propositions to maximise the generation of license sales revenue by securing Oracle product selection.
Engage in sales opportunities to bring deep industry insight, detailed Financial Management product knowledge and broad Oracle family product knowledge.
The ideal candidate has significant experience of positioning financial transformation solutions with Oracle’s EBS Financial Management Solutions, and has good knowledge of the Financial Services industry.

Reports to an Applications Sales Consulting Manager
No direct reports, but may mentor colleagues
Good awareness of financial transformation business drivers within the Financial Services industry.
Depth of knowledge of Oracle’s EBS Financial Management Solutions
A broad knowledge of Oracle’s EBS enterprise applications suite
Contributes to the evolution of Oracle's Financial Management and Integrated Risk & Finance value propositions
Contributes to the achievement of the UK applications licence sales target

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively maintaining a depth of product knowledge in the EBS Financial Management products including
Competitive offerings
Solutions enabled by the products
Case studies of implementations
Developing product skills and knowledge around Oracle’s new Financial Services Analytical Applications suite (“OFSAA”)
Ensuring the Sales Consulting team and specified groups have up-to-date and relevant product knowledge in the designated product areas
Providing support in Sales Campaigns including
Product demos and presentations
Detailed expertise in creating product solutions for specified needs, and for creating cross-product solutions where required
Taking a lead role on account, solution or industry teams, where required
Participating in strategic account planning, including major accounts where required
Contributing to the generation and maintenance of relevant Financial Transformation and Integrated Risk & Finance value propositions
Educating customers and Partner Organisations in Oracle Financial Management solutions and value propositions
Exploiting Oracle’s Marketing messages in the definition of product solutions
Building and maintaining relevant relationships with the customer during and after the bid process
Demonstrating the credibility of Oracle's products and solutions, at all levels, from board members and other key decision makers to practitioners in the customers' organisation
Contributing to customer success and referenceability

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Attend customer meetings with Account Management to qualify product requirements and understand customer needs
Deliver update sessions to bring customers up to date with Oracle’s Financial Management & Integrated Risk & Finance solutions and value propositions
Design and deliver customer demonstrations to articulate and evangelise Oracle based Financial Management & OFSAA product solutions
Contribute product information in response to Invitations To Tender (ITT) and Requests For Information (RFIs)
Run seminars and workshops for Partner organisations as required
Engage with Product Development teams to maintain product knowledge
Represent Oracle at marketing events as required
Act as a solution contact for customers in the designated area
Recognise and communicate opportunities to up-sell based on solutions insight
Update Sales Consulting team in product knowledge
Research competitor’s product offerings
Actively develops product expertise
Must have extensive experience within the EBS Financial Management Solutions applications space.
