AMM Support Team Leader
The role is working within the AMM team (Automated Market Making System) as a front-office support team lead (team size: 4 people). AMM is Equity Flow's real-time risk management, trading and automated market making system for listed and OTC Equity Derivatives, built in Java / LINUX with a Java Swing GUI. AMM is a highly business-critical area for Nomura.

We are looking for an experienced support team lead with good working knowledge of equity derivatives pricing and risk management. They will work in close proximity to traders on ad-hoc production issues, regular daily tasks such as running batches, various client reporting and implementation of small enhancements. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, an investigative nature with rapid troubleshooting abilities, and experience of working with traders in a fast-paced front-office trading environment.

Since some development will be required, experience in scripting languages such as Perl, plus more structured programming experience using Java, is crucial for this role. Experience of working with SVN or another major SCM is therefore beneficial.

This is essentially a production services role, hence the candidate must adhere to such standards as issues tracking, incident management and firm-standard release and change management procedures. This role requires working on a shift basis, starting at 07:00 for the morning shift and finishing at 20:00 for the late shift after running the EOD batch. There will also be involvement in some RTB projects, such as testing/developing DR strategies.

Front Office Support Experience, preferably with options derivatives pricing and risk systems.
Working knowledge of equity derivatives pricing and risk management.
Some structured development experience using Java, plus experience in at least one scripting language (Perl, Python, Bash, etc.).
Strong UNIX and/or LINIX.
SQL & Relational Databases.
Team Player.
Excellent Communication Skills.
To provide cover from 06:00 to 21:00 – shift basis (3 shifts)

Bonus requirements
Knowledge of listed equity derivatives markets : e.g. eurex,liffe, idem.
Knowledge of Middleware, particularly Tibco messaging RV and/or EMS.
Experience with distributed architecture frameworks.
