Bloomberg ALPHA is Bloomberg's new platform for Portfolio Analytics and Risk. ALPHA is responsible for the rapidly improving portfolio functionality that Bloomberg offers within the terminal product. Over and above this, ALPHA will launch a premium product targeted at data intensive-users, clients requiring greater customizability, quantitative portfolio managers and enterprise-level customers.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated, financially astute and experienced person to join our new and rapidly expanding Portfolio Analytics and Risk team within our ALPHA Intelligence Group. You will be responsible for representing the suite of Portfolio Analytics and Risk functionality through a deep knowledge of all algorithms, mathematical models and calculations within our applications. The ALPHA Intelligence group will be responsible for supporting our clients who require a superior level of knowledge of the workings of our platform. Responsibilities will also include that of Financial Quality Assurance (FQA) which provides quality control around our product features and function releases. With a consultative approach you will address advanced client issues, supply resolution and provide follow up if necessary. This role will support all facets of the ALPHA business including Sales, Account Management, and ADSK. ALPHA Intelligence will also work strategically with business management to identify trends, opportunity for enhancement and provide critical feedback which is necessary to the development of our platform. This role demands a confident, team playing, client focused individual. This new platform, which will be offered at both a core and premium level, will offer an extraordinary level of support, superior analytical tools and intelligent resources. May require travel. |
