Accounts Payable Supervisor - Payments Team
This position represents an opportunity for a person with the right blend of technical and interpersonal skills to join us in our Financial Services Centre at an extremely exciting stage of business growth and change. Key to this role will be your ability to manage relationships within your team, ensuring that staff are managed, motivated and developed to the best of their ability. Experience of working within a financial shared services environment would be an advantage and an understanding of accounting systems and the interaction of ledgers is essential. This position will be hands on, in a fast paced environment with variety and challenges presented on a daily basis. You must be able to demonstrate a background in a high volume processing environment and experience of managing large teams of staff. The Supervisor ensures that Accounts Payable transactional processing is carried out efficiently and effectively, in line with agreed service level agreements, control procedures and company policies.

Principle Accountabilities
- Supervision of a process focused department that interfaces with numerous Cargill Businesses throughout the European region. Those businesses are located in UK, Ireland, France, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal and Spain.
- Maintains procedures of work that satisfy both internal and external audit, meeting Cargill control and security policies and requirements.
- Control and maintenance of bank file transmissions (8 different banking software applications) to enable local electronic submission of payment data, including fully documented set-up procedures and requirements.
- Provides leadership, coaching and support staff to maximise their performance and ensure values, ethical standards, equality and diversity policies and procedures are met. Regular staff appraisals, setting and monitoring KPIs and identifying development needs.
Qualifications: Bachelors (Business / Accounting)
Other Certification (AAT/CIMA)
Experience: 10 years +
Languages: English : Speak / Write Fluently
