Novartis Animal Health is a leading international company that specialises in providing pharmaceuticals for the prevention and treatment of animal diseases. We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our Finance department at our Head Offices in Frimley. Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting and Accounting, the successful candidate will effectively supervise the Accounts Payable team across 3 legal entities of Novartis Consumer Health and manage processes to ensure the smooth running of the Accounts Payable function.
Key responsibilities • To effectively supervise and train the team in line with the companies procedures and systems • To ensure Vendors are paid to terms. • To ensure Vendor details are correct and up to date. • Maintains the company’s signing authority summary by updating spending and authorisation levels as instructed to ensure guidelines are observed. • To assist with any projects where necessary. • Month end reporting • To maintain and update expense systems as required • First line support for outsourced AP processing – manage resolution and escalation issues |

We are seeking an individual with previous experience of working in an Accounts Payable function (preferable with some experience of supervising/leading a small team) gained in a complex/large blue chip organisation. In addition good working knowledge of SAP and other PC tools including Word and Excel is essential. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a customer focussed approach, with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders as well as vendors. Systems installation experience would also be an advantage. |
