This new venture has been formed from the integration of BT TNS and BT SkyNet.SkyNet and TNS were both purchased by BT in 2005, and were leading Cisco LAN,IPT and managed services integration businesses in the UK market. The mid-market arena is a key growth area for BT, and with its convergence portfolio and capabilities,BT iNet is positioned at the heart of this growth effort. The integration of these businesses will harness the dynamic and effective business models of both organisations, allowing BT to be more responsive and customer focused in the UKLAN and IPT market.

Role Objectives
To be the sales interface with both new and existing clients. Predominantly desk based, with field-based sales people to support face-to-face customer requirements. On rare occasions the candidate must be prepared to travel to see customers.

Responsibilities
Manage a sales territory in conjunction with a field based Business Development Manager,
Work with and develop partnerships with other business units in the wider BT to generate sales leads and opportunities. Similarly to work with other key vendors (eg Cisco) to establish business opportunities and sales leads.
Responsible for managing the sales pipeline.
Analyse and qualify all appropriate new enquiries.
Remain current and market-aware by remaining knowledgeable about the IT market, its trends and the company's competitors.
In association with their sales leader, identify and develop sales strategies and go-to-market activities to introduce new technologies and services as appropriate to their customer base.
Meet and exceed financial and performance targets as agreed.
Maintain awareness of and as necessary, assist in the monitoring and control of customer financial accounts and credit lines.
Liaise and collaborate with other internal departments in order to meet and achieve objectives.
Maintain accurate and appropriate records and reference documentation for the provision of internal management information.
Ensure that all customers are handled in an efficient, responsive and professional manner. Develop and nurture strong relations with key customer contacts.

Qualifications: Bachelors
Experience: 7 years +
Languages: English : Speak / Write Fluently
