The carefully curated portfolio of Apple and Third Party accessories is a key differentiator for the Apple Online Store. The Business Development Manager is responsible for bringing new and unique products and categories to market, ensuring AOS is the primary place to shop online. A creative mind coupled with the tenacity to execute through detailed and lengthy processes is essential as is the ability to sell the vision and capture the imagination.
This is a role that relies on relationships with key teams within the AOS and other Apple groups such as Product Marketing and especially the Marcom function to ensure we remain on-brand at all times. Proven execution skills are equally important to bed in products, share results and pass on the Accessories team for vendor and produce life-cycle management.
The candidate must demonstrate a competence in strategy development, market intelligence acquisition, consumer insights and communications development. Whilst much is achieved with and through the teams that support this role, the ability to stand alone and have confidence in their decision-making is key.
You must be confident, friendly and have excellent networking skill, ideally with a list of good industry contracts. A highly persuasive and driven individual targeted with the on-going development of the Accessories business. |
