Capital and Risk Manager
We have a fantastic opportunity available in our UK Chief Risk Officer function as a Capital and Risk Manager.

You will be responsible for leading the UK Solvency II Pillar 1 work. You will provide guidance on appropriate treatment of technical issues for companies in UK group, liaising with ABI, HMT, FSA and Group Risk Management. You will monitor progress of the operating companies against Solvency II plans, providing challenge, and keeping UK management and GRM informed of progress and issues. You will be involved in the co-ordination of interpretation and implementation of Group standards, and produce aggregate UK Solvency II capital position and present any results to Group. You will report on components of capital, return on capital and impacts of diversification to UK Risk Committee and UK Investment Committee. You will have responsibility for co-ordinating training for the UK Board and its sub-committees and provide any education of wider staff at AXA UK Group to enable embedding/use in business. Another key part of the role is taking a leading role in a range of diverse risk management projects, for example: managing the liquidity position of AXA UK managing credit market risk exposures optimising risk based capital allocations provide challenge on asset allocation and risk management strategies participate in working groups on technical subjects led by GRM

You will have strong communication skills, with the proven ability to interact with all levels of the business. You will be able to demonstrate your strong relationship building and influencing skills.
You will have recent Solvency II experience.
You will be an Actuary with approximately 2-5 years (or equivalent) post-qualification experience from either an Actuarial consultancy or within an Insurance company with experience in the risk management field.
